UK in B&W

Posted on: October 23, 2009

Starting this is quite difficult for me as over the past week I made a huge list of the bad aspects of Britain. I have to decide on one of them for tonight and obviously give it a bright side as one of the main reasons I write on this blog is to convince myself UK is not that bad…Here goes, something that shocked me as a girl and an addict to perfection 🙂

OLD NAIL POLISH… It seems that most of the UK girls have a problem with their nails. On a train, at the pub, in the club or at school, everywhere you will find at least on girl who has old, scratched, deteriorated nail polish on either finger or toe nails. It look horrible and so out of fashion. It defines the person as superficial and negligent as it totally not proper for a Gucci/D&G/LV girl.

On the other…hand, I must admit that HAIR looks amazingly well in this country. Everybody seems to be wearing the perfect haircut, hair pins and colours. Although I understood that extensions are really popular (I really wonder how it feels when a boy passes his hand through the long shiny fake blonde piece) I admire how perfect people look from morning to late night. Thumbs up for that 🙂
